As a someone who is neurodivergent myself, I know how important it is to feel truly seen and understood. Therapy with me isn't about fixing you- because you are not broken. Its about creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, explore what's going on in your world and feel supported in making sense of it all at your own pace. I work with clients who have been diagnosed as neurodivergent, those who suspect they may be and folks still trying to figure it out.
About me and my practice
My approach is gentle, collaborative and grounded in deep respect for you lived experience. I draw from person centred therapy, neurodiversity-affirming practises with a sprinkling of CBT to provided a counselling experience tailored to each individual client. You don't have to mask here, you don't have to explain every detail, you just get to be you. Whether you are looking for coping tools, space to reflect or someone who 'gets it' I'm here to walk along side you.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a member of the BACP I am committed to providing an Ethical, quality service, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and integrity at all times.
I know first hand how debilitating depression and anxiety are. To have someone that simply listens and understands you even when you can't quite find the words is reassuring and comforting, as your counsellor I can be that person.
Experience
Being a therapist has been a meaningful journey for me, I've had the chance to sit with people going through their toughest moments and its taught me so much about strength, vulnerability and the importance of simply being heard. Every Person I've worked with has reminded me how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and supported. Its not easy but its work that constantly inspires me and keeps me grounded.
